2 Simple Ways to Get Fast Traffic to Your Blog

I was checking out one of my favorite internet marketing forums — one way I keep up with what’s going on in the IM space, and I noticed that a bunch of different people kept asking a similar question, so I thought I would do a post about it.  They were basically asking what some tips on getting traffic to their blogs.  We all know how important quality traffic is, so I’ll give you a couple of tips and provide you with a resource to further your learning.

One of the quickest ways to get traffic to a new blog is by finding forums in your niche and putting a link to your blog in the signature file.  The first thing you need to do is to find some forums that get lots of traffic in your niche.  To do this, you can go to Google search and put in “your niche + forums.” Once you’ve found some, you should check out the number of members.  Lots of members equals lots of traffic — talking 10,000+.  You also want to make sure that you add value by interacting with people and answering questions as well.  When people like what you say, they will naturally check out your stuff.

Another simple way to get traffic to your blog is by looking for blogs in your niche.  The easiest way I’ve found to do this is to go to Google search and look for popular product reviews that are in your niche and that consistently out-rank you.  The reason I suggest this is because these people already know what they are doing and usually get lots of traffic.  Blogs like this welcome comments because it helps with the social markers of S.E.O.  Again, it’s important that you make relevant comments.  You should only put your url in the space for the url.  Don’t put it in the message body, or it will look like spam.

To learn more about the ins and outs of blogging and more awesome traffic tips, I recommend that you check out Affiloblueprint 3.0 by Mark Ling.  It’s a comprehensive, 12-week course (can get done faster and work at your own pace) in which you get to watch as the product creator (a real-life, ethical marketer with a long-standing reputation for releasing quality products) shows you how to build a blog from start to finish (using video and other resources), so that you’ll be generating residual income by the end of the course.  Click the link below to learn more.

Affilorama/Affiloblueprint 2013 Birthday Special

As internet marketers, the start of back-to-school through the end of the year tend to be the most profitable for us due to the facts that so many products come out and because people start shopping early for the holidays to save time and money, so if you’re interested in learning how to generate genuine, residual, long-term wealth via affiliate marketing, I’ve got just the thing for you.  This way, you can jump in on the fun rather than just sitting on the sidelines as another profitable holiday season goes by.

Today, I would like to introduce you to a product called Affiloblueprint by someone I consider a mentor of mine (never actually met him in real life) and someone whom I contribute a great deal of my online success to, Mark Ling, founder of Affilorama (company for all his online stuff).  I first heard about Mark some years ago via a popular internet marketing forum, where tons of people seemed to be raving about him and the quality of stuff he put out — a rarity even to this day.  After doing a bit of research, I was shocked to find that he’s a real person.  Everybody was also saying how he’s such a good teacher, too.

After going back and fourth, I decided to get his Affiloblueprint course.  Once I got in, I was taken aback at the fact it was so nice and neat and seemed legit.  There were videos and stuff (before everybody else started doing it, has been updated for 2013) — a big plus for me as I’m a video freak.  Aside from the actual content, I found that I loved the way the course was set up (a lot like a classroom setting) and the fact that he knew what he was doing as he set up a site outside of the IM niche from start to finish within the course — learned and ton and have made lots of money because of him.

If Affiloblueprint sounds like something you’d be interested in, you’ll be happy to know that Mark has a 3-day Affiloblueprint, birthday special going on (from August 30th, 7 p.m., ET to Sept. 2nd, 7 p.m., ET) As part of this celebration, you get full access to the Affiloblueprint course (will put link to review down below, so you can read all about it – don’t forget to bookmark for later) as well as 6 months access to what Mark calls Affilo tools, a suite of really cool tools to help marketers improve their rankings (i.e. track your pages and rankings for specific keywords and lots more) — at more than half of the regular price!

2 Common Ways to Make Money Online by Writing

Today, I want to talk to you about a topic that I have seen that keeps popping up: ways to make money online writing.  In reading, one of the things that I’ve noticed about people that seem to want to make money writing is that not only do they have a passion for it, but they also don’t really care about the hassle of getting ranked in the search engines and all that stuff, so blogging will not be one such option listed here.

1. Ghostwriting.  Lots of writers I know are really into ghostwriting, where they do some research and write content for other marketers.  This is a long-term business model that will never go away because marketers are always needing high-quality content for blogs, autoresponders, sales copy for product creation, e-books to sell as an actual product and more.  It’s endless.  This is also one of the fastest ways to make money and get paid because you get paid via Paypal.  As a ghostwriter, you can also run specials.  Click the link below to learn more to learn more about this model and my recommendation.

2. PLR Store.  PLR stands for Private Label Rights and is content that can be purchased, modified, and used as your own.  This kind of content is sold in packs and can consist of everything thing from article, blog posts, and lots more.  What makes PLR different from ghostwriting is that it is content that is sold to multiple buyers, based on the type of content that they are looking for in the search engines.  For marketers, it’s a cheaper alternative hiring a ghostwriter.  I think of it as kind of a cross between being a ghostwriter and blogging.

Once you put up the content, you will content to generate residual income from it.  Better still is the fact that you get paid via Paypal, and because of the nature of this content, you don’t have to worry about refunds.  Since the product can’t be sent back, most PLR providers don’t have a refund policy.  In addition, you can take requests (via an opt-in form) and run specials — just like you can with ghostwriting.  Click the link below to learn more about this model and a review of my recommendation.

What Kind of Blog Should I Make?

Today’s post was inspired by a question that I saw in a popular internet marketing forum.  In the guy’s original question, he asked if it was necessary to build a list when you have a blog.  If you don’t understand how the two are linked, you soon will.  First, you should know that the answer to his question is “no.”  The reason is because it depends on what the goal of your blog is.  I’m going to discuss the two perspectives and offer options for learning each.

There are two main approaches that you can take when it comes to blogging: a micro-niche site or building a larger, authority site.  Even though each uses a slight variation on the same business model, each has its pros and cons and are structured a bit differently.  You can either choose to do implement one or both of them.  I’m going to start with the most popular one at the moment: micro-niche sites, which I just recently got into.  cbengine (.com) is a good site to use with these.

Micro-niche sites are popular right now because they are how you generate fast, residual cash with a blog.  These types of sites also require less work (only about 6 to 15 pages of content), get ranked really quickly, and are written around one product.  While smaller, these sites still contain quality content that delivers value (product review and related articles).  It should also be noted that this model is most often used with product launches and trending topics.  List building is not a part of this strategy since visitors come looking for a specific item.  Click the link below to get started.

Authority sites are Authority sites are larger in scope (consist of many product reviews and articles – like this blog), and as such, they tend to focus on things that people are passionate about.  While these sites take longer to rank, they are awesome because not only will they begin to out-rank your competitors with little more than a post over time, but this model uses list building, which acts as a second income stream.  You can also use them as a central location to promote all of your other online efforts (like selling your own products and more).  Click the link below to get started.

The Sad State of the Internet Marketing Industry

Today, I want to talk about something that has been annoying me recently — the sad state of IM.  I’ll tell you what’s been frustrating me, why it has been doing so, and the provide you with some recommendations down below that will allow me to do my part in changing it.  For the first time in a long time, I don’t have to babysit my niece and nephew this summer (love them but Yay…LOL!)  This has given me more time to concentrate on doing more IM stuff.

Anyway. as I’ve been doing more reviews, I’ve been noticing something interesting but sad at the same time.  It’s that quality internet marketing products that actually provide you with real knowledge and enhance your overall skill set as marketers don’t seem to get their due while all the gurus back the crappy products that were designed to just suck you dry of your hard-earned money.  This causes a lot of confusion because lots of people write me and ask me about various products.

Nine of out 10 times, the product they ask me about is a scam, and when I not only tell them that it’s a scam but list all of the reasons this is true, they seem really disappointed and angry.  Well, today, I’m going to attempt to remedy that by providing you with a list of real business models and quality products that you can use to make real money.  As all of the models are legit and profitable, the one you choose just depends on what you’re into.  The one that will make you the most money is the one you like and stick with.  I also changed one of the recommendations for fun to showcase a different product.  Click the link below to get started.

The Beauty of Promoting Higher-Priced, Quality Products

When it comes to making money online, we all want to make as much money as we possibly can because the truth is that, while helping people is great (should also be a goal), this is a business.  From that standpoint, promoting higher-priced products makes total sense — especially when you consider that the promotional work that you have to do for a product — whether it’s higher or lower-priced — is the same.

With that said, there is something major that I’ve noticed in the past little while, given that I promote both lower and higher-priced products.  I’ve noticed that as long as you choose a quality product, the refund/chargeback rates for the more expensive products I promote have been non-existent — really!  One in particular, called Affilobleprint (review), is on Clickbank.  I recommend that you use it and promote it if you are struggling with blogging and hitting that $100/day mark — it pays that well!  Some others are on independent affiliate programs that pay via Paypal, which I have to wait to be paid on.

Anyway, the moral of the story is not to shy away from promoting higher-priced products.  Here’s a tip.  More expensive, quality products are totally worth it, but you can’t think to yourself “This is too expensive.  I would never buy it.”  You have to think of it in terms of how the product will improve the potential customer’s life.  From that perspective, a quality product that solves a major problem they are dealing with is priceless.  It’s like the more it cost, the harder they are willing to work to solve their problem with your recommendation.

Joey

How Much Money Will This Product Really Make Me?

Hello, guys and gals. Today, I want to respond to a question that I’ve been getting a lot lately, especially from newbie marketers.  It usually goes something like this, “How much money will [product x] really make me?  The answer to this is pretty simple.  I have no idea how much money you will make with a particular product.  The reason I don’t know is because there are a number of factors involved like your level of experience, how long it takes you to grasp the material and so on.  The only thing that I can do is introduce you to quality products that work and those that are taught by people who really know their stuff.

As for the rest of it, it’s pretty much up to you.  In this business, you kind of have to be the type of person that’s a self-starter, one that’s persistent and being naturally inquisitive also helps out a lot.  You have to be the kind of person that’s not afraid to ask questions when you get stuck (happens to everyone) and also be willing to seek out the answers.  These qualities are very important because even with legitimate products, you have to realize that no product is 100 percent perfect.  Success in this business is basically about finding a business model that suits you (several to choose from) and working it.

I, for instance, found that I really like blogging.  Interestingly enough, it’s not because I like to write all that much.  I like blogging because of the residual aspect of it — being able to put up content once and continue to profit from it.  I also like the idea of having a little community of my own and having the knowledge to help people out with their questions.  Some people like being service providers and doing stuff where they get paid via Paypal.  I’m personally too much of a procrastinator for that.  I also know this because I actually tried it.

With that said, I also have to mention that once you find what you like, it doesn’t really feel like work.  Over time, you also get pretty quick at it once you get yourself into a route, so don’t let the idea of having to put forth some effort scare you off.  Click the link below to find the model that best  fits you.

How to Get a Clicksure Refund

Hello, guys and gals.  This post is going to be short and sweet.  As the title suggest, I’m going to tell you how to get a refund from Clicksure (what has become the common payment processor for a great many IM products once a lot of the gurus got kicked off of Clickbank after Clickbank tightened it’s advertising rules and such) and a reality check.  At the time of writing this post, I have not come across one quality product on Clicksure (at least in the IM space, so I would avoid it like the plague).

To get a refund from Clicksure, all you have to do is to Click the link below, and follow the instructions.  It’s a good idea to search your inbox for the e-mail that Clicksure sends out whenever you purchase a product from them.  All of the internet products that I’ve come across on the Clicksure network offer a 60-day money back guarantee (from the date of purchase).  Oh, Clicksure is based in the UK.  It takes a while to get your refund from them (like some two weeks).  Anyway, here’s the refund request link:

http://www.clicksure.com/order-lookup

In closing, I want to ask you to stop falling for the hype.  The truth is that there is no “software” that’s going to make you tons of money overnight with the click of a button and very little work.  Making money takes effort on your part.  It’s about finding  business models, finding one that fits you and your goals, and then learning and implementing what it is that you learn — real talk.  If you’re ready for that, I invite you to click the link below, where you will find a list of various business methods and products that teach them.

Why Newbie Marketers Should Start in a Niche Outside of IM

Today, I am going to address a rather common topic that I have been asked via e-mail and one that I see a lot on internet marketing forums as well.  It’s about why I recommend that you start making money online outside a niche market other than “making money online.”  I’m also going to tell you what I recommend instead (easiest way to figure out profitable niche) and how you can get started in right direction (product recommendation).  Let’s get to it.

Whenever I tell a newbie that they should start in a niche outside of the “make money online/internet marketing” niche, the usual response that I get is, “Why?  Are you scared of a little competition?”  That always makes me laugh because there’s competition within every profitable niche.  The real reason is because you can’t really promote legitimate “make money” products whenever you’ve never done it yourself.  I mean, with all the crap out there, how can you tell the difference between a quality product and a crappy one?  You can’t.  That comes with experience.

Now, you’re probably asking yourself, “What do I do instead?”  Well, that’s a great question for which I have an equally great answer.  🙂  Think about your hobbies.  What are you into?  What do you like to do for fun?  There is a VERY, VERY good chance that you into a hobby (niche) that’s really profitable and that you’re part of a much larger niche — even if you don’t know it.  Since you’re in the niche yourself, it also means that you will be more easily able to connect with your audience.  I will use myself as an example to prove my point.

When I first started making money online, I was told not to go into “make money online” (didn’t know why at the time), so I didn’t.  I sat and thought about it for a while, and then, it dawned on me that maybe what I majored in while in college (Spanish) was a niche.  As it turned out, it was (and is).    It’s something that I knew a lot about and enjoyed (love languages in general).  Since I was in the niche, I had also already used a lot of products as well.  It was great!  The best part was that I was able to pretty much type from my head and pump out content really quickly, and readers loved my work!

When you go for what you know, everything else will fall into place.  It doesn’t matter if it’s sports, cooking, video games, gardening, or something I’ve never heard of before.  Go for it and take action!  With all the niche markets and products out there (and the tons that will come out being that we’re only a few days into the new year), your opportunities are limitless.  Click the link below to kick start your online journey (will be taken to a review for a product that teaches you how to make money from emerging products and trending topics in 30 days or less).

Making Real Money Online Starts With Your Mentality

As I visit various internet marketing forums around the web, there was one topic that just kept coming up over and over again (and one I get e-mails about as well).  It’s that of mindset or your mentality when it comes to making money online.  I often see posts where people say they have been trying to make money online for years but have failed.  They continue on and list all of the programs they’ve spent money on and have access to.  While some of them are admittedly crap and complete scams, others are totally legitimate.

I often think to myself, “If you actually implemented [product x], then you should have seen success long ago.”  For instance, they might say they purchased a product about making money blogging (just one way to make money online) that’s legit.  I’ll ask to see their site, so that I can provide them with feedback.  They have no site to show me.  When I ask them to show me their research (the first step in the process), they will often say that they got stuck and then gave up after a week or so.  Forgive me for sounding harsh, but this mentality isn’t going to cut it.  For many people, though, this mentality seems to be a permanent state of being.

The Successful Marketer’s Mentality

If you’re serious about something, your mentality should be something like, “I may not know how to do something, but I know other people have had success at it, and I’m willing to learn and put in the effort until I reach the same success.”  When you run into a roadblock (happens to us all), you don’t give up.  View them as learning experiences.  You ask questions, do research until you figure out what you did wrong.  Once you figure that out, you make the correction and keep it moving.  Your only option should be one of success.  This mentality holds to for successful people in general — not just marketers.

While there are some things that you can’t control in your life, there are many more things that you can control.  For instance, you can’t really control if you grow up poor.  You can, however, decide that you are not going to be defined by your circumstances and choose to equip yourself with knowledge and skills that allow you to take a “less conventional” path to success, so that the world is your oyster, and you can live out your dreams.  In the end, it all comes down to you.  Do you have the successful marketer’s mentality?  If so, click the link below to get started.

Yeah, I Have the Successful Marketer’s Mentality!
