How to Profit From the Upcoming Holiday Season

The holidays are quickly approaching and as such, I felt this post would be quite timely.  Every year around this time, I get people sending me e-mails how can they make money online to help the pay for all their holiday stuff.  Believe it or not, the easiest way to do this is to profit from the holiday madness itself — before they actually get here so that you already have the money in your hands (or pockets).

Let me explain what I mean.  Now more than ever, millions upon millions of people are shopping online for their holiday stuffs.  This means they start shopping earlier.  This even happens in my home with my 60-something year old mom.  The reasons?  Not only is it an alternative to braving the crazy lines and often the cold as well as a way to find products that you’re not able to find locally — especially if you live in a small town, but many retailer offer deals that you can only find online!

When it comes to profiting from the holidays, it’s all about taking stock of emerging trends and product launches — before they actually happen.  The great thing about this is that the internet has made it easier than ever because you’re literally able to find out about products months in advance before they hit the market!  Even better still is the fact that the competition for newly-released products and such is non-existent!  This means less work and faster results.

I mean, it’s literally like taking candy from a baby!  Oh, the best part about this method is that even though it’s most profitable during the holidays (as the holiday season is the most profitable time for marketers), it’s also a method that can be and is used all year long to make money online.  It’s also one that works in any profitable niche market.  All you have to do is get the know-how to make the most of it.  Click the link below for more.

How to Make Money Online Without a Website or a Product

I have been getting a number of e-mails as of late from people asking how to make money online with a website or product of their own, a legitimate way to make money online that they can duplicate without having to go through all the stuff that goes along with building a website.  If this sounds like you, listen up because there is a legitimate solution.  The answer to making money online without a website is to become a service provider — more specifically a ghostwriter.  In the IM niche, a ghostwriter is someone who does research and writes content for other marketers.

Being a ghostwriter comes with a number of advantages.  For instance, many people already have many of the skills required for this, which means it takes less of a learning curve (less time to learn what you need to know and put it to use so that you can start seeing results).  Even better still are the facts that you’re not only able to get paid quickly via Paypal but are able to get paid upfront, in whole, or in part, to ensure you can pay your bills or whatever.  It’s also something you can replicate whenever you need money.  The only real down sides to it are that you get paid per job, so the income isn’t residual, and you need to work with deadlines.

If you can handle that and are looking for a legitimate way to make money online without a website (or product of your own), I really encourage you to take a look at becoming a ghostwriter.  It’s a long-term business model that won’t ever go out of style since marketers are always looking for quality content.  Now is a great time to get started.  The latter parts of the year are most profitable for marketers, which means they need content more now than ever.  If this sounds like your “cup of tea,” so to speak, I invite you to click the link below.

How to Get Quality Content When You Don’t Like to Write

If you have been trying to make money online for a significant amount of time, you have undoubtedly come across the expression “Content is king.”  The reason for this is because, regardless of the business model, content (primarily written) — and quality content is necessary to make money online.  It’s where the value comes from.  Unfortunately, this can be a major road block for those who either are not good writers or just don’t have the time.  In fact, it may people some people from giving the whole “make money online” thing a go at all — no more.  I’m going to be introducing you to a lost-cost way you can get high-quality content.

Today, I’m going to tell you about something called PLR and my top recommendation for where to purchase it from.  PLR stands for Private Label Rights and is content that you can purchase, modify, and use as your own.  It’s a good way to get some content up so that you can start making some money (especially now with stuff starting to gear up for the Fall and Winter months).  I should also tell you that quality of content varies widely, and where you purchase from matters.  With that said, I’m recommending that you check out my friend Tiffany Dow’s PLR store.  Why her?  What makes her different from all the rest?

The cool thing about Tiffany is that not only does she have a background in journalism (great at research and writing), but she has also been making money online for more than 12 years!  She knows how to write in order to sell because she actually does it herself!  She really knows her stuff and writes herself.  Beyond that, her store is vast and covers a wide array of niche markets, including popular ones like dieting, dating, internet marketing, to holiday PLR and anti aging.  You’ll find content for blog posts, to articles, product reviews, e-books and more!  Click the link below to check out her PLR store (make sure to bookmark it).

Conversions and Forum Marketing Fun

Today’s post has to do with failed conversions and the awesomeness of forum marketing.  I’ve been promoting a product for a while, but for some unknown reason, my review page hadn’t been converting at all — even though the traffic was targeted and the product itself is a quality one.  The product creator is well-known and has a reputation for putting out good stuff.  This is odd for me because my conversion rates and earnings per sale tend to be way above average.  So, yesterday morning (in the early a.m. – I’m a night owl), I decided to make a change.

Since search traffic hadn’t been converting like I like, I decided to try forum marketing on a forum that I’ve been a member of for a while (the Warrior Forum – http://www.warriorforum.com/).  It’s the most popular forum for internet marketing and free to sign up for — although there is one-time paid membership that I don’t bother with.  I decided to promote the product in my signature file by linking to my review (direct-linking not allowed) — making sure to highlight one of the benefits of the program as my anchor text (the words people see).

Guess what happened?  In a few hours, I had made my first sale promoting said product!  Adding the link to my signature file allowed me to make a cool $134.97 USD with a rebill of nearly $100 USD — just by interacting within a forum I use on a regular basis, anyway!  🙂  I’m going to be doing a lot more of this!  Forum marketing is a great way to get free traffic (and make sales) that even a total newbie can use.  The key is to add value to the conversation.  When doing form marketing, you need to make sure that your blog is relevant to the forum in which you are posting.  Click the link below so you can start seeing these results for yourself…

How Much Technical Skill Do You Need to Make It Online?

In today’s blog post, I wanted to address a question I have been seeing a lot in internet marketing forums.  “How much technical skill do you need to make it online?”  I found this question to be rather interesting because as I was doing research, I realized that this question mostly came from people who had been trying to make it online for a while, had been scammed, and they finally realized that those products that claim to make you thousands of dollars a night with the “push of a button” .don’t really exists.  This also prevents them from moving past their fears and seeing success.

Well, I have some good news for you.  As someone who has been making money online for a while now, I can tell you that it doesn’t take a lot of technical skill to make it online.  I, myself, am not a “techie.”  The truth is that the technical skills you need to make money online vary depending on the business model that you choose to go with.  Yeah, that’s right.  There’s more than one legitimate model to make real money online.  Regardless of the method you choose, the most challenging aspect tends to be the initial setup (just because it requires a learning curve, and you’ve never done it before.)

The good thing about this is that once you get over the initial setup of whatever business model you choose, most of everything else you learn actually has to do with the “making money” part of it and is considerable easier to handle (usually just about getting out content since that’s where the value comes from online).  It will become second nature.  The other good thing is that you only need one legit business model and a program that teaches it to make it online.  Below, you will find a link to various business models and products that teach them.

Unexpected Surprises, Profitable Niche and Product

Today, a short story…Something really cool happened to me the other day, and I thought I would share it with you — as well as a profitable niche and product you can promote.  Once upon a time (3 days ago), I got an unexpected payment in my bank account.  The reason I wasn’t expecting it was because it came from content (non-IM niche) that I put up on the web 3 and a half years ago and haven’t touched since I first launched it!

It’s situations like these that make me such a big fan of using blogs to generate residual income.  You can put put up content once but continue to earn, make money by writing about things that you have an interest in, work around your own schedule when it’s convenient for you and more.

Want to know the niche I made money in?  It’s the dating niche.  It’s a billion dollar industry and considered “one of the big 3” niches when it comes to making money online.  The product is called “Online Booty Call”  — a casual dating site (not porn) that pays out $25.00+ per made subscription!  The main keyword “online booty call” gets more than 40,000+ global searches a month! There are also tons of keywords you could use to promote it.

Since it’s considered a casual dating site, that’s a good place to start.  Single people looking for love is another.  It’s on the Pepperjam Exchange Network (pepperjamnetwork.com) and accepts traffic from the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia.

The dating niche is extremely profitable.  All you have to do is gain the knowledge and skills you need to make the most of it.  Click the link below to start generating your own unexpected surprises…

How to Make Money Online Fast 2012 and Earn While You Learn

With the economy in dumps and so many people out of work, more and more people like yourself are turning online to not only learn about a legitimate way to make money online but the fastest way to do with the shortest learning curve and one that can be duplicated over and over again so that they (and you) can get paid as quickly as possible.  In this post, I will be outlining a legitimate business model that provides a solution to how to make money online fast in 2012, tell you why it works and the benefits, as well as recommend some solid training so that you can get started as soon as possible.

The Business Model

The solution to how to make money online fast in 2012 is by becoming a ghostwriter (writing content for other people – marketers)The reason why becoming a ghostwriting is such a great way for those looking to make quick cash online is because as a ghostwriter, you get paid via Paypal (online payment processor).  More importantly, you can have your clients pay you upfront before you start the work (so you know ahead of time that your bills will be covered)!  It’s also one of the few business models where you have the opportunity to learn the business while you’re earning money (descent writing skills are good enough).  The other great thing is that since “content is king” on the internet (a necessity due to search engines and what not), you’ll always have work available.

Recommend Training

If you’re looking for a legitimate way to make fast money online in 2012, you need look no further than ghostwriting.  It doesn’t matter whether you need money for month-to-month expenses or money emergencies, family vacations, and things of that sort.  You’re covered, either way.  All it takes it is proper training.  For this, I suggest Ghostwriting Cash by Tiffany Dow (along with Craig Desorcy).  It also comes with a full 60-day money back guarantee (plenty of time to test it out and see results before the refund period elapses).  Click the link below to get started earning while you’re learning and seeing those Paypal payments roll in.

Don’t Let Competition Scare You: Why It’s a Good Thing

In today’s post, I want to address one of the most common concerns people seem to have when starting out online: competition.  I get lots of e-mails from people asking me if it’s still possible to make money online with all the competition out there.  Everyone seems to think that they have missed the boat and that it’s way to late to get started.  Well, it’s never too late, and it’s totally possible.  How do I know?  I only started this blog some two years ago.  Not only that, but this blog is in a highly-competitive niche (make money online niche, considered one of the “big 3” along with weight loss and dating).  There was tons of competition then, too.  Yet, it makes me money (and my income continues to grow).

There are a few other things I’ve learned as well.  Competition is a good thing!  Here’s why.  Competition is an indicator that there is a market for something.  If you’re in a niche market where there’s not much competition, there’s little to no money to be made.  When there is a market for something, and you’re in a market that’s highly-profitable, all it means is that there are more opportunities to make money (tons of products to promote).  More products to promote means more content and more content means more traffic, which means more money.  It’s easier to get a small piece of a larger pie than to get something from nothing, if you ya know what I mean.

It’s also important to remember that not everyone who makes money online is going to be promoting the same stuff.  Since the products you promote depend on the niche you are in, your competition only consist of people in the same niche market as you (dating, weight loss, video games…).  All you have to do is get your foot in the door.  Another interesting tidbit is that the average person only keeps up their blog for an average of four months, so if you were to update your blog on a consistent basis for the next 5 months, you’re already ahead of the game.  Until next time…

The Difference Between a Niche and a Keyword Phrase

In today’s post, I am going to be clearing up some confusion about two topics that new comers to internet marketing have difficulty grasping: the difference between a niche and a keyword phrase.  Heck, when I first started internet marketing, I didn’t get it, either.  I decided to talk about them together because they are kind of related when it comes to online marketing.

First, let’s talk about a niche.  A niche is a group of people who are looking for a solution to a problem (or who want to learn how to do something) and are willing to pay money in order to do so.  A niche is all about the people.  If you want to make money in a particular niche, you have to get to know the people within the niche and what triggers them to buy in the first place.  If you can’t answer the “why” question, you’re not going to be able to connect with your audience and come across as believable.  Niches can be big or small, so to make money, you need to find profitable niches.  Here are the top 3 when it comes to online marketing:

*Weight loss/health/fitness

*Dating/relationships

*Make money/internet marketing

I’m sure some of you might we wondering, “Why are these the top 3?”  The rational is simple.  People are always going to want to lose weight, find love, and/or make more money.  We refer to these niches as evergreen because the compulsion for people to do these things will never go away.

Now, we are going to be talking about keywords or a keyword phrase.  A keyword or keyword phrase is often referred to as a tag and are the words people use in order to find a particular piece of information online.  There are two types of keywords you will see and hear a lot about in internet marketing: short-tail and long-tail keywords.  Short-tail keyword phrases are those that use two or fewer keywords.  Long-tail keyword phrases use three or more.  In marketing, we focus on long-tail because we want targeted traffic (people who have been pre-exposed to what we are selling).  The more targeted the search, the more the chance you have of making a sale.

To help illustrate how this relates to niches, I’m going to use the “weight loss” example from above.  A profitable niche will have tons of keywords that you can use to promote a product or products.  A small niche that’s not really profitable won’t.  Using the free Google keyword research tool (just go to Google, input “Google keyword tool,” and click on the first link — “keyword tool – Google adwords.”  When I input the niche “lose weight,” this base keyword phrase gets more than 11 million searches a month!  If I scroll down, I see a list of keyword phrases like “how to lose weight quickly” or “easiest way to lose weight.”

As marketers, when we talk about getting ranked in the search engines, we’re talking about getting ranked for individual keyword phrases like those listed above.  Getting ranked for just a few long-tail keyword phases is enough to make big money.  With tons of keywords comes lots of opportunities.  This is why I tell people not go to scared of going into big niches.  Well, I hope this post has helped to clear some stuff up.

My Internet Marketing Goals For 2012

With the year coming to an end (and the second-year anniversary of my blog coming in February), I thought now would be a good time to write down my goals for the direction I want to take my internet marketing business in the coming year.  As I was sitting here thinking, I realized that there were some things I accomplished while I missed the boat on others.  So here we go.

1. Continue to grow my blog and brand myself.  Thankfully, I survived all the Google algorithm changes and have come out on top.  In times past, I would spend a lot of time backlinking and getting traffic, but now, my blog gets backlinks and traffic naturally with a simple post.  It goes to show you that when you build a solid foundation, you will make it through — no matter what’s thrown your way.  I’m gonna keep cranking out the quality content.  Two things I want to do in order to improve my blog are to focus on actively building my list and getting more into social media.

2. Focus on building up a second stream of income.  This is a goal I have had for some time, but I let it kind of fall by the waste side.  I plan to do this by launching my own PLR store.  I have actually purchased a program and a domain some time ago, but haven’t done anything with either of them.  Both the program and domain are just sitting idle.  In order to motivate myself, I have decided to set a goal of doing at least one article pack a week.  I figure having at least 52 article packs by the end of the year is good.  Regular Paypal payments, outside of affiliate programs, would be awesome.

Those are my only goals so far.  Although I’m sure the first one won’t change and is set in stone,  I’m not so sure about the second one.  I recently purchased a course that I still have to go through.  If it contains a method about how to make with money using Paypal that’s something I can duplicate, I might choose that option over launching my own store.  If not, I will focus on the store because I really want an income stream that pays me via Paypal on a regular basis — outside of an affiliate program.  We’ll have to wait and see.

What are your internet marketing goals for the upcoming year?
