S.E.O stands for Search Engine Optimization. While there are several different types of S.E.O (discussed down below), it basically describes the things one does in order to be get ranked and be seen within the search engines, and typically refers to using free methods. Regardless of the method you plan to use to make money online (blogging, YouTube) — or if you want to use free or paid traffic — it’s a crucial skill to master.
The reason is because knowing how to properly do search engine optimization can make or break your business. It’s how you get traffic. Traffic is the “life blood” of any online business. If people never see your stuff, you’re never going to make any money. Even if you’re a marketer that’s thinking about going the paid traffic route, you still need to the same skills to know how to do research and target the right kinds of keywords. It should also be noted that a lot of these comes from doing RESEARCH and planning. The last kind of S.E.O is called Local S.E.O. This is the S.E.O. that those marketers who work with local businesses that have physical locations use.
